A Bear, a Monkey & a little Monster!

This is mainly where I will post but we consist of Myself, Tim and Cooper.

We live in Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. Before I became a full time mum I worked as a Senior Test Analyst for Trade Me in Wellington Central and Tim works for our business as a Developer, Network Designer, Thinktank – mainly from home.

Since April 2010 I have worked as a contractor through our company at night for around 10 hours a week as a Test Analyst. It’s nice to keep my head in the industry and having the flexibility of working after Cooper sleeps is great… I guess having pocket money is also a benefit. Currently working for the International company Star Now but also contract to other companies as/when needed.

We have two cats, Fluffy and Spot which are little rascals – particularly Fluffy.

Cooper was due the 8th of January 09 but arrived two and a half weeks early at 12.09am on the 22nd of December 2008 weighing 6lb 12oz (3.050kg). He has his own website too.

This blog will mainly be about our day to day life but I am sure there will still be the occasional geek post.
